Setting Patient Triggers (alerts) and Toolbar Colours
The bar across the top of patient records can be configured to display different colours depending on settings configured for your practice.
This can be used to highlight certain conditions relating to a patient such as their payor, you can also open pop-up notes to highlight specific information.
Patient triggers
These provide the ability to define the conditions initiating an alert message to be displayed. The feature uses the patient-coloured toolbars, pop-up notes functionality and query functions to open preset messages when certain query conditions are met.
When you load a patient record, EXACT uses the toolbar triggers to alter the display, displaying the first criteria that are met using a top-down approach. The order of the triggers can be changed with the most important colour notifications being placed at the top.
When navigating to the patient file any pop-up notes created by a trigger can be temporarily closed but not permanently de-activated unless the trigger is removed.
Configuring patient triggers

- Select the option to set up patient triggers.

Arranging your triggers
You can edit the order of the triggers using the up and down arrows, ensuring your highest priority triggers are at the top with the lowest priority at the bottom.
