Attaching Custom Screens to services
Once you have a custom screen in EXACT, whether you are using an existing custom screen, have created this yourself or imported one into EXACT you can add this to a service.

Attaching to a service
- Go to Configure - Services.
- Find and open (double-click) the service in the services list.
- The Edit Service Item window will open.
- On the first tab, details, you will find the Custom Screen field.
Click the box to reveal the selection button, click this to open your list of available Custom Screens.
- Select the required Custom Screen, clicking OK to add to the service. You will be returned to the Edit Service Item window.
- You can select how you would like the custom screen to appear on the chart menu via the drop-down menu. Your options are:
- Popup disabled - You can complete the custom screen but it never popup for the user.
- Popup when planned - When the service item is first charted it will prompt the user to fill in the custom screen.
- Popup when completed - The custom screen will prompt the user to fill in the custom screen when you mark the service as completed.
Attaching to a service from the Custom Screen list
You can attach a Custom Screen to a service from the Custom Screens window.
- Configure - Custom Screens.
- Select the Custom Screen by highlighting the row.
- Click the Set Services button at the bottom of the screen.
- The right-hand section will show all the services that custom screen is attached to. The pop-up setting is identified via D, P or C (these are outlined below), tick the box for the required setting.
- D = Popup disabled - You can complete the custom screen but it never popup for the user.
- P = Popup when planned - When the service item is first charted it will prompt the user to fill in the custom screen.
- C = Popup when completed - The custom screen will prompt the user to fill in the custom screen when you mark the service as completed.
- You can highlight the service you want to add it to on the left hand side and click on the >> button to move it to the right and then tick the popup option you need.
- Repeat this for each service you want to add on.
- Once you've configured the custom screen services, select OK to save or Cancel to discard.
Removing from a service
From services,
- Go to Configure - Services.
- Find and open (double-click) the service in the services list.
- The Edit Service Item window will open.
- On the first tab, details, you will find the Custom Screen field.
- Clear the Custom Screen name from this field.
- Press OK to save.
From Custom Screens,
- Configure - Custom Screens.
- Select the Custom Screen by highlighting the row.
- Click the Set Services button at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the service on the right-hand section.
- Press the << arrows to remove the Custom Screen.
- Press OK to save.
