On 1st December 2021, NHS Isle of Man introduced some new elements, this article gives an overview of these and how you can utilise them in EXACT.

On the FP17 screen you will notice the NICE Guidance area has been reduced in size with all the previous information shown when you press the Details button.

A Flexible Commissioning dropdown menu has been added with the following options to select from if required* to be included with a claim,

• Securing Access for Urgent Care
• Promoting Access to Routine Care
• Providing Care of High Needs Groups
• Starting Well
• Enhanced Health in Care Homes
• Collaboration in Local Care Network

*only required if your NHS contract is participating in Flexible Commissioning

Three new Clinical Data sets have been added to EXACT, these include;

• Custom Occlusal App - Hard Bite
• Custom Occlusal App - Soft Bite
• Denture Addition/Reline/Rebate

You can add these new data sets to any services, if you need assistance on how to set these please use our guide on NHS Service Codes and Categories.

When you have charted a service with one of the four new clinical data sets attached you will find them ticked under a new tab on the NHS FP17 window titled 'Data Set 2'.

In addition to these, the data set Permanent Fillings & Sealant Restorations CDS has been renamed Fillings.

AGP (Aerosol Generating Procedures) 

A new AGP service now exists to send a count of all AGP appointments with each claim, charting this service on every appointment that uses an Aerosol Generating Procedure will add to the count for the course of treatment.

This can be added to any service that uses AGP, follow our AGP help guide to set this up.

The count information is displayed on the FP17 window once you TC a course of treatment under the treatment tab, this can be manually increased using the arrows if necessary.
