How To Resolve Examine Pro In Demo Mode On One Workstation – Version 6
Open up the ilUser.ini (found in “c:\program files (x86)\soe\expro\settings\ilUser.ini”) and locate the line “CheckForNetKey” under the [CONFIG] section and change the value to ‘1’. If this isn’t in the file, enter CheckForNetkey=1 immediately below the [CONFIG] line. Close and Save the file.
Open up the ilCore.ini (found in “C:\Program Files (x86)\SOE\ExPro\Settings\ilCore.ini”) and locate the line “CheckForNetKey” under the [CONFIG] section and change the value to ‘1'.
Locate the line “NetKeyServerName” under the [CONFIG] section and type in the name of the PC with the dongle after the equals sign. Close and Save the file.
If still in demo mode then verify UDP Port 6001 is open within all firewall and antivirus software on the local PC.
