EXACT has two password options available to users, basic and CloudAuth.

If your practice utilises any third-party functionality such as online integrations or payments you are required to utilise CloudAuth.

The CloudAuth option provides increased security over your EXACT system by providing a password strength indicator, giving you an insight into how secure your password is.

CloudAuth also enables you to add your Email address for use in case you ever forget your password, you will find a Forgot Password option on the login screen for use in these instances.

Creating a Password

When your User account is first created, you are required to create a new password. You will be prompted to create this using the Update Password window.

In alignment with the industry standard for password strength, your password is required to combine letters, numbers and special characters.

The strength of your password is identified by a colour range, from Very weak to Very strong. Your password must be a minimum strength of Medium.
