Contacting Patients in Care Manager
Care Manager has patient contact functionality, useful for recording your engagement with an identified opportunity.
Contacting Care Manager Opportunities
To book a patient for their un-booked treatment, you'll need to find out when they're available. The Contact functionality in Care Manager enables you to send Online Booking links via Email or SMS.
- Open Care Manager by clicking the Care Manager icon at the top of your system.
- Or via Administration - Care Manager.
- Select an opportunity by clicking on the required row.
💡 Tip: The contact functionality requires the Online Booking feature to send booking links to patients. - Click the Contact button at the bottom of the screen.
- You can now Select an appointment.
- Review the appointment details.
- Select your communication method: Email or SMS.
- Select a template; this will default to the last used template, however, you can use the selection option to choose an alternative.
- Alternatively, if you're going to contact patients by phone, click the relevant phone number to open a notes prompt where you can record information about the phone conversation.
Once you have contacted a patient, you can use the Book, Assign, Snooze, and Reject options to set the required status for the patient and their treatment.
