Attaching Custom Screens to Treatment
Custom screens can be added to services to assist when recording important information and data when treating patients.
Attaching Custom Screens to Services
- Go to Configure - Services/Stock Items - View Services.
- Find and open the required service in the list by double-clicking it.
- The Edit Service Item window will open.
- Select the Advanced Charting tab.
- Click in the Custom Screen field.
- Click the Selection button to open your list of Custom Screens.
- Select the required custom screen, clicking OK to add it to the service.
- Use the drop-down menu to set how you would like the custom screen to appear when charting the service.
- Popup disabled, you can complete the custom screen, but it will not pop up for the user.
- Popup when planned, the custom screen will open when the service item is first charted.
- Popup when completed, the custom screen will open when the service item is marked as completed.
Attaching to a Service From the Custom Screen List
You can attach a custom screen to a service from the custom screens area.
- Go to Configure - Custom Screens.
- Select the custom screen by highlighting the row (do not double-click).
- Click the Set Services option at the bottom of the window.
- All Available Services are displayed on the left, with any Services Using Custom Screen on the right.
- Use the double right arrows (>>) to move a service to the right column to assign the custom screen to the service.
- The D, P and C options set the pop up options for the custom screens.
- D = Popup disabled, you can complete the custom screen, but it will not pop up for the user.
- P = Popup when planned, the custom screen will open when the service item is first charted.
- C = Popup when completed, the custom screen will open when the service item is marked as completed.
- The D, P and C options set the pop up options for the custom screens.
- Once you've configured the custom screen services, select OK to save or cancel to discard.
Removing from a service
From services,
- Go to Configure - Services/Stock Items - View Services.
- Find and open (double-click) the service in the services list.
- On the first tab, details, you will find the custom screen field.
- Clear the custom screen name from this field.
- Press OK to save.
From custom screens,
- Configure - Custom Screens.
- Select the custom screen by highlighting the row.
- Click the set services button at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the service in the right-hand section.
- Press the double left (<<) arrows to remove the custom screen.
- Press OK to save.
