Exporting and Importing Custom Screens

Custom Screens can be exported and supplied to another Practice / Database for them to import into their EXACT.

Tip: You can find a collection of Custom Screens created by the EXACT team in the EXACT Custom Screen archive.

Please Note: You may need to be an EXACT Administrator in your practice to action these tasks.

Go to Configure - Custom Screens.
Highlight the Custom Screen you wish to export then click the Export button in the bottom right.
A Save As window will open in Windows.
- Select a location to save the custom screen (eg Desktop), name the file a something appropriate.
- Set the Save as type to Export Files (*CSV).
The file is now ready to be used in another EXACT database.

Go to Configure - Custom Screens.
Click the Import button in the bottom right.
Find the downloaded custom screen .CSV file on your computer/drive, then click Open.
- You may be asked to rename it if an existing Custom Screen with the same name already exists.
The Custom is now saved into this EXACT database.
To begin using this custom screen you will need to attach it to a service or as an extra tab.
