From the 1st November the new Prior Approval rules will be live. You should have been notified by the 28th October of your provider tier. This is individual to each clinician.

You cannot create or edit the rules, these are set by NHS Scotland. Outwardly nothing on the course will appear any different, the change is in the background of how Exact triggers the prior approval.

Any course prior to the 1st November will still fall under the previous monetary logic, any course started after will use the new tier based logic. You must be on version 26.172 or above, this is mandatory for all NHS Scotland practices. If you are not on 26.172 or above, you must upgrade your instance of Exact. This must be run from the server machine and all users must remain logged out during the upgrade process. Please ensure to carry out a back up before the upgrade.
