Normal/Combined mode failed
Sometimes when running this process the camera can cause errors or crash with a message about normal/combined mode failed. This is due to an issue with the configuration.
To clear the issue;
- Go to (C:\Program Files (x86)\SOE\ExPro\Settings or C:\Program Files (x86)\SOE\Examine Pro\Settings on Examine Pro 8.24 or later) and select ILUser.
- Find the heading for [ilmodWdmStillCap CONFIG].
- Delete everything under it to the next header.
- Save your changes via File - Save.
(Note Windows 11 NotePad will not save if you close the App, You need to close the Tab the .ini file loads in for it to save)
This will clear the settings and can then run the process again to reconnect the camera.
