Intra-Oral Camera Configuration

PLEASE NOTE: The instructions below must be done on the PC that the IntraOral camera will be plugged into, as the settings will only change on the PC where they have been applied.

HOW TO CONFIGURE PRODENT / DARIO / OTHER USB CAMERAS

1. Navigate to Options, select Video Still Capture and ensure WDM StillCap is ticked.

   

2. Click on the Video Still Capture Button (in version 6 this will look like a film roll).

   If you get a Warning stating ‘No video capture device found’ click ‘OK’.

   

3. Navigate to Options and select Device Setup.

   

4. Click on the Expert Setup tab. Click on the drop down and select your device.

   At the bottom of the screen ensure you tick ‘Video Format Compatibility’, then click Save&Exit.

   

5. Go back into Options and Device Setup.

   

6. Click on the Misc tab and ensure Search for Still capture pin and Search for Em28xx button are checked.

   Uncheck all other options and click Save&Exit.

   

The camera will now work in EXAMINE Pro, ensure you check that the buttons on the camera capture an image.
