Sending a HS45PR to a Clinipad (Northern Ireland)
Patients in Northern ireland can complete their NHS forms electronically with a Clinipad in practice.
Please Note: (For EXACT support staff) To enable this option, the internal setting internal.nhs.HS45PR form must be changed from 0 to 1. |
Sending a HS45 PR upon arrival (reception)
When a patient has arrived in reception, mark the patient arrived as usual then,
- Once the Arrivals window opens you will have the option to Send HS45PR to Clinipad, if the option is not ticked by default, the patient is not required to complete one. You can tick the box if you wish the patient to complete a form anyway.
- Select Arrive & Send to Clinipad.
- Select Change Patient on the Clinipad then hand the device to the patient, giving instructions to complete the required forms.
- When the patient has completed the forms and returned the Clinipad, use the drop down arrow on the Clinipad icon to Return the device.
Sending a HS45PR from the chart tab (surgery)
- Create a new Course of Treatment for a patient.
- The Exemptions and Charges window will prompt that the patient needs to complete their HS45PR form.
- Select Send HS45PR to Clinipad.
- Select Change Patient on the Clinipad then hand the device to the patient, giving instructions to complete the required forms.
- When the patient has completed the forms and returned the Clinipad, use the drop down arrow on the Clinipad icon to Return the device.
- When an HS45PR is already linked to a Course of Treatment, the Exemptions and Charges window will display the text Patient has an electronically signed HS45PR.
- You can click View Signed HS45PR to confirm the form has been completed correctly.
- If the form has not been completed correctly, you can select Send HS45PR to Clinpad then follow from step 4 in these instructions.
