Dental practices in NHS Scotland and Northern Ireland can utilise the Lapse List report to populate a list of patients whose NHS registration is due to lapse in a chosen time period.

NHS Lapse List Reporting

The report will produce a list of patients, including the following information:

• Patient Name

• Patient Phone Numbers

• Patient Balance

• Patient’s dentist

• Lapse Date

• Acceptance Date

• Last Exam Date

Creating a Lapse List Report

1. Go to Administration - Reports.

2. Locate and select Lapse List.

   • Use the Select Patients option to select a patient list; a lapse list option should be available in the suggested search tab.

   • The Provider field will default to the user logged in. You can delete this information and leave this empty to create a list for the entire practice. With a provider selected, the list will only contain patients for the provider.

   • The From and To Date fields define the future date range for which to create the report.

   • The Types fields allow two different criteria to be selected to narrow down the list. 

   • Click Print to send the report to the printer, Preview to preview on-screen and then print from the preview screen, or Cancel to return to the previous screen.
