Contact consent forms are used to collect your patient's consent for contacting them regarding marketing permissions (GDPR consent). They can be disabled if you do not wish to collect this information.

Disable Requests for Patient Marketing Consent

⚠️Note: It is strongly recommended that you discuss this with your Data Protection Officer (DPO) before disabling this setting due to future implications that may occur.

1. Go to Configure - Settings.
   • This may be restricted to admin users only, for security reasons.
2. Search for the setting patret.cfg.collect marketing permissions.
   • Double-click the setting option.
   • Change the value from 1 to 0 to disable the feature.
   • Click OK to confirm your changes.

💡Tip: This will prevent any new requests for contact consent from being sent; any existing requests sent via Patient Portal will still be present until completed by the patient.
