It is possible to open a patients file directly from the appointment book using the link icon at the bottom of the window.

Linking to a Patients file

To link to a patient the link button on the patient file must be depressed (this can be seen by it having a blue hue).

If the wrong patient file is opening, open a patient file and ensure the link button is depressed, this can be seen by it having a blue hue instead of the standard grey button face. If this is not depressed, click the button and test the link again.
