EXACT has the ability to set another patient as the paying patient this setting will transfer all transactions and invoices to the paying patient.

This is useful when a carer, guardian or other is responsible for settling a patients accounts.

Enabling/disabling Paying Patient

1. Select Configure - Patient File.
2. To enable the setting, tick the Paying Patient box under Optional Elements or remove the tick to disable the setting.

When the patient file is selected, an option will appear to select the account for the patient paying the balance:
