Creating MPC Custom Dashboards
Creating and Navigating the MPC Custom Dashboards.
Please refer to the Introduction to MPC Custom Dashboards help article as you need to create your user permissions before you can create your custom dashboards.
Creating your own dashboard
- Now that your user permissions are set, use the drop-down list at the top of the Custom Dashboard screen to choose a template to load.
- There are three pre-configured dashboards created;
- Finance.
- Appointment Analysis.
- Productivity.
- After choosing a dashboard to work from you can scroll through each report and set up the parameters that you wish to see on your dashboard (6 months previous, 12 months previous etc).
The custom dashboards are unlimited, you can create as many as you would like!
If wish to create your personalised dashboard from scratch or add a new section which is not already featured to a pre-configured template, you can do so by...
- Click on the Manage Features button at the top of the Custom Dashboard screen.
- Look through the available sections- these are all of the reports you can add. You can use the Filter by feature drop-down on the right to make this easier to look through.
- To add the report to your dashboard click 'Add Feature'
- Once you are happy with your selection, press the 'Return to Dashboard' button in blue.
- Any new features will be added to the bottom of your current dashboard.
Viewing custom dashboards
After creating and saving a Custom Dashboard, you can easily access this from the Choose a Dashboard template to load drop-down at the top of the page.
Remember, when viewing your dashboards you can always adjust any parameters of individual reports or update the practices currently being viewed to ensure you are seeing exactly what you need to at any one time. You can view the data by weekly or monthly preference.
Tips and Tricks
- If you turn on the Comparison Period toggle you can compare against the same month one year previous to measure your performance.
- You can update your dashboards at any time by making any adjustments to your parameters or selected sections. Remember to press the Save Active Template button to save the amendments.
