Enabling the Denplan tab and Simply Health link
When using Denplan, you will need to enable the Denplan tab for it to show on the patient file.
Enabling the Denplan tab
- Select Configure - Patient File (only EXACT Administrators can perform this).
- Tick the Enable Denplan tab checkbox.
- Click OK to save changes.
- Close and restart EXACT (this will need to be performed for all users to view the new tab).
- Open the patient File and check that you can now see the Denplan tab and two sub-tabs.
The OHS tab is used to record an Oral Health Score, while the Assessment tab is used to create an on-line assessment of a patient's oral health the same as that used on the manual "Denplan Care Assessment" form.
The Assessments tab allows you to create an on-line assessment of a patient's oral health, corresponding to that used on the manual Denplan Care Assessment form. See Performing a Denplan Assessment for more information on this tab.
One or some users cannot see the Denplan tab
If you have users who cannot view the Denplan tab after enabling it.
- Advise them to close EXACT then log in, then test again.
If they still do not have access, it is likely to be a security settings. - Navigate to Configure - Security then select the security group to be edited.
Tip: When you have selected a security group, all the members of the group are listed at the top of the security window. - Check all the following have ticks beside them: File - Patients - Denplan Tab - OHS Tab & Assessment Tab.
Adding a Simply Health link
Please contact Simply Health regarding the addition of a Simply Health link within EXACT, this is not a feature we support and in turn, we cannot assist with it's implementation or troubleshooting.
