Exporting Patient Lists
Patient Lists can find patients matching specific criteria, you can then send communications to those patients in bulk by email, text message, letters, or exporting the search results.
Exporting Patient List Results
⚠️Note: To comply with GDPR, marketing-type communications should only be sent to patients who have explicitly opted to receive those communications. You should not send to patients who have explicitly opted out or made no choice.
💡Tip: Exported lists will become outdated quickly, as the information will not be updated if it changes.
- Go to Administration - Patient Lists - View Saved Lists.
- Select the list you wish to view, then open the list or double-click the list.
- Alternatively, create your new list, then have the search results open on screen before proceeding.
- Click the Print option at the bottom of the Patient List to open your print options.
- After clicking this option, you can select various printing options as well as choose to Print, Preview, Email and Export.
- Select Export.
💡Tip: Hover over the buttons to view the descriptions of each and select the one with the tooltip: Print Patient List.
- Enter a File name for the export.
- The file will be saved as a .CSV file for use in Excel, Sheets, etc..
💡Tip: Make a note of the file location to ensure you can locate the exported file.
