- Any existing triggers will be displayed.
- The triggers work by hierarchy, from top to bottom.
- You can create a new trigger with the Insert a Patient Trigger option or remove one with the Remove Selected Patient Trigger option.
- The e|d button allows you to edit an existing trigger.
- The up and down arrows will rearrange the hierarchical order.
- When no triggers are met, the bar will display the Default toolbar colours.

Creating New Triggers
- Click the Insert a Patient Trigger into the list option.
- This will open the Patient List functionality.
- Select an existing list or create a new list with your required conditions.
π‘Tip: Name your patient list with an identifier, such as adding the word TRIGGER or using a special character at the beginning, to highlight its use and prevent anyone from deleting the patient list, as this will stop your trigger from working. - Once created, click OK to save and close Patient Lists to continue creating your trigger.
- You can now choose if the trigger will open a pop-up note or set the toolbar colour.
- If it is a Popup Message, you can click Edit Message to set the message text and as well the colour and when the pop-up will appear.
- If setting the toolbar colour, set both the top and bottom colours.
π‘Tip: Set the colours the same for a solid colour or use two colours to identify two different pieces of information such as a mixed payor patient. - Click OK to save your new trigger.
- Your new trigger will be added at the bottom of the triggers list, use the up/down arrows to rearrange the order.
- Select an existing list or create a new list with your required conditions.
- Click OK when complete and exit all configuration menus.
