Restore Missing Vistascan image
How to restore an Xray that has gone missing during a scan using the Duerr Vistascan.
PLEASE NOTE: The instructions below must be done on the PC that the X-Rays were taken from.
Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Duerr\images folder (search including hidden folders)
Import image from that location. There will be some files one will be labelled PNG. EXAMINE Pro can import that file type.
All images are duplicated into this folder when taken. You can usually find what you need in here going back years.
How to Recover Images from VistaScan
PLEASE NOTE: The instructions below must be done on the PC that the X-Rays were taken from.

Click on the Acquire button in EXAMINE Pro.

Click on the Trouble-shooting cog once the Pop-up states ‘Device ready’.

Then click on the Image Recovery folder.

Select the images which require recovering in the image recovery pop up window (shown below).
How to Recover Images from VistaScan -
The image will then populate in a pop up. Press the image transfer button in the top left corner of this window.
Check the name matches the patient
Check that the date and time matches the time the x-rays were taken
Highlight the required images then click ‘Transfer images’

Click close on the original VistaEasy pop up.
The images will now pull into EXAMINE Pro and you can continue to save as normal.
