Sometimes Examine Pro will not fit to the screen correctly, meaning it will either be too small and not fill the screen or be too large with sections of it appearing off the screen.

The simplest way to resolve this is to go into Examine Pro and press the key combination “CTRL + ALT + D”, Examine Pro will then attempt to automatically fit itself to the screen correctly. An alternative way to do this is to go to “Display” in the top left of Examine Pro and then “Desktop Panels” and choose the option “Autoset Desktop” in the drop down menu. In version 8 of Examine Pro you may need to use the option to “Fit this desktop to screen” instead or use the key combination “CTRL+ALT+F”.

This problem can also occur if a non-standard resolution or scaling factor. You can manually set Examine Pro to the closest resolution to fit the screen. To do this is to go to “Display” in the top left of Examine Pro and then “Desktop Panels” and choose the option “Load Desktop” this will then present a drop down menu of all available resolutions, select the resolution that best fits the screen.
