Updating DVA, TAC, WorkCover fees in EXACT
When the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), Transport Accident Commision (TAC) or WorkCover update their fees for dentistry, your fees in EXACT will need to be changed.

Configuring your payors for fee updates
Configuration is required in EXACT for your DVA, TAC and WorkCover payors for any future fee updates to be applied correctly in EXACT.
| Please Note: It is advisable to update your TAC and WorkCover payors alongside your DVA payor for future potential Payor fee updates. |
- Go to File - Payors - select your DVA, TAC, WorkCover payor.
- Change Payor Type to an option that matches the selected payor.
- Click Save.
- Repeat for all your DVA, TAC, and WorkCover payors.
Updating your DVA (Department of Veterans Affairs) fees
Automatic DVA fee updates
With the introduction of automatic fee updates for your DVA payors in EXACT 13.1010, EXACT will update your DVA fees for you.
You will need to ensure your DVA payors have the correct Payor Type assigned to them. You can configure or check your DVA payors (DVA, DVA Prosthetist and DVA Specialist) using the steps outlined in Configuring your payors for fee updates.

Tip: After configuring your DVA Payor Types for the first time, you will need to wait until midnight of the same day for these payor fees to update. You can update your DVA fees prior to midnight through a manual process outlined in the steps below. |
Manually updating your DVA fees
- Go to File - Payors - select your DVA payor.
- Click Fee Schedule.
- Click Download Fees.
- Once the download and import has finished you will be presented with a confirmation prompt on screen.
