NHS course of treatment status
Every NHS course of treatment (COT) in EXACT has a status set against it.
These statuses all identify progress of the COT in question. To view the status of all NHS COT's, navigate to Administration - NHS - Courses of Treatment.
The COT Status column, displayed the current status of the course of treatment. The column can be arragned, with COT number as the secondary sort order. A second column - the ‘Confirmed UDA/UOAs’ column - on the ‘List COTs’ screen shows the confirmed number of UDAs allocated to the course.
Planned
This is displayed on COTs where treatment has been charted and possibly charged.
TC'd
Treatment Complete COT's will display this status, where the TC button has been pressed to finalise a treatment.
Transmitted
Displayed to identify that the COT in question has been added to an claims bundle and sent to the NHS for review.
Confirmed
The Confirmed status occurs after a claim has been received on a schedule in EXACT and the UDAs match or you accept the difference.
Disputed
The status of Disputed is assigned to a COT when it has appeared on a schedule but the number of UDAs assigned differs from what is expected. If you mark the disputed claim as ‘Accepted’ by ticking the schedule line, then its status will become Confirmed. Even though the UDA allocation from NHS Dental Services has a status of Disputed, the UDAs received are still real, so they are counted as confirmed UDAs everywhere in EXACT.
