Once you have installed the Clinipad app on your tablet and configured the application, the device will need to be added to your EXACT system.

Add a New Clinipad

💡 Tip: If you are reconfiguring a previously paired device, you will need to follow the steps in Pairing a Previously Paired Clinipad.

1. In EXACT, go to Administration - Clinipad.
   • Or click on the Clinipad option in your workspace along the top of EXACT.
2. Click the spanner in the lower right of the screen
3. This will open your Clinipad configuration.

4. Click the + Add New Device section.

   • Enter a unique Device Name.

   • Click Create Device.

   • The device will now be displayed on the main Clinipad screen.

5. On your tablet, open the Clinipad SOEI app.

   • Install the application if you have not installed the Clinipad SOEI app, then configure the application.
6. Select the required device from your on-screen options, then select Pair Device.
7. The tablet is now ready for use and will display the Clinipad home screen.
8. Repeat this for any additional devices.

Shared iPad App Settings

If, when replacing an iPad with another iPad for use as a Clinipad, the new tablet automatically links to the same Clinipad name as the original tablet, I.E. both Clinipad 1 and the same patients show on both tablets;

1. On both iPads.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen.
4. Tap iCloud.
   • Toggle off the specific apps that you do not wish to sync or use with that device - in this case, Clinipad SOEI.
