Cannot Assign Patients to a Clinipad
If an issue occurs with your Clinipad device, and a patient remains assigned to the tablet or is stuck, you will need to manually break the connection.
Release a Patient from a Clinipad
- In EXACT, go to Administration - Clinipad.
- Or click on the Clinipad option in your workspace along the top of EXACT.
- Click the spanner in the lower right of the screen
- Locate the tablet on the screen.
- The patient's name will be displayed at the top of the Clinipad illustration - you can click this to access the patient's record, if required.
- Click the link or plug icon displayed on the illustration of the Clinipad
- This will release the patient from the data.
⚠️ Please Note: All patient data from this session will be discarded and cannot be retrieved.
- Click the Return button in the Clinipad screen or on your desktop.
- Please ignore any "Failed to release Clinipad device" error messages if the device has already been released.
- Once released, you can assign your next patient to the Clinipad.
