Collecting patient details and contact consent via the Workflow
Depending on your Workflow configuration, you may be prompted to collect patient Email and Mobile numbers as well as their Contact Consent prefences.

Collecting Email and Mobile numbers
If a patient does not have an Email or Mobile number saved to their patient file, the Workflow will prompt for this information to be collected. This will be displayed via a prompt highlighting which is missing.
- Click the prompt to open a window to enter this information.
- Enter the relevant details then click OK.
Configuring the frequency of collecting contact details
If you or your patient doesn't want to be asked for their contact details again for a while, you can delay the prompt for 12 months.
- Click the prompt to open a window to enter this information.
- Click Prompt in 12 Months.
Collecting contact consent
- With the patient in the To Depart bar, click the link Collect Contact Consent.
- This will open Preferences to Contact Patient.
- You can now ask the for their contact consent and click the buttons accordingly.
- If your practice uses Clinipads, you can Send to CliniPad option to send it to a tablet device for the patient to complete
There are three settings available for Consent to send,
- No options selected will show no colour on the tick or cross boxes
- A green tick indicates the patient would consents to contact
- A red cross indicates the patient has opted out of consent
There are two settings available for Surpress patient communications,
- No option selected will show no colour on the box
- A green tick indicates the patient has opted out of all communications, exlucind important notifications
