You can record a Doctor's information on a patient record, helping Dentists to contact a patient's Doctor where required.

⚠️ Note: Doctors details entered by a patient will be blank, unless the patient has completed their doctors details using Clinipad.

Selecting a Doctor on a Patient Record

Doctor information is displayed at the bottom of the patient's Medical tab.

1. Open the patient record.
2. Click the Medical tab.
   💡 Tip: A patient's existing Doctor will be displayed beside the Select Doctor button.
3. Click Select Doctor.
   
   • Select the relevant Doctor from the list.
     💡Tip: Click +1 to add a new Doctor to the list.
     

Adding a New Doctor to EXACT

1. Go to File - Specialists.
   • You can also add a new Doctor via the Medical tab on the patient record and clicking the Select Doctor button.
2. Click +1.
   • Enter a Code to differentiate the Doctor from other specialists.
   • Complete the additional information, as appropriate.
   • Click OK to save the Doctor and make them available from the list of available Doctors.
