Printing, exporting and emailing medical histories
On occasion it may be necessary to print or export the medical history of a patient for referral purposes or other requirements.
EXACT facilitates this via Print Patient Details on the patient file, all three of the options, printing, exporting and emailing are completed through the same process.

Printing, exporting and emailing
- Open your patient file via the Patients workspace button then search for your patient.
- Along the top of the file are a number of buttons, click the Print this Patient button.

Print Patient Details window will open.
- There are a number of options available in this window, find out more about this in Printing/Emailing patient details (inc charting and medical)
- Tick Print patient medical
- Ticking Include all medical history will give you all the audited information as well
- Once you have selected these and deselected any options that are not required you now have the option to Print, Preview, Email or Export

Print will send a copy to your chosen printer

Preview will display the information on screen to show what it will look like before printing

Export will export to a spreadsheet (.CSV File)

Email will create an email with the medical information attached as a PDF.

Please Note: You cannot print the medical history as it is displayed within EXACT unless you print screen or use the Windows Snipping Tool then print them as an image. |

When a patient has completed their medical history online via Patient Portal, you can print this form out via an alternative method to that outlined above.
- Open your patient file via the Patients workspace button then search for your patient.
- Open the Medical tab.
- Double-click the required Medical History.
- In the lower left is an MH button, click this
- This will open the completed form in a browser
- Click the settings/option button in the upper right
- Select Print then follow your on-screen instructions
