If a patient has a preference for a specific type of anaesthetic, this can be recorded in the medical tab on their patient record.

Anaesthetic Preference

1. Open the patient record.
2. Select the Medical tab.
3. Enter the patient's preference in the Anaesthetic Preference box at the bottom of the tab.
   💡Tip: This is labelled Ana. Pref in legacy versions of EXACT

Additional Information

💡Tip: All changes are audited each time the field is edited. The change is written to the medical history list in the form of Date/time, User, and a comment "Ana. Pref changed to xxxx".

The Entry is automatically marked as void, so only shows, when you tick the Show Audit check box.
