Assign a Clinipad to a Specific Computer/s
Configure the visibility of your Clinipad devices to designated computers in your practice to reduce errors sending forms to the wrong tablets.
Configuring Clinipad Availability
- In EXACT, go to Administration - Clinipad.
- Or click on the Clinipad option in your workspace along the top of EXACT.
- Click the spanner in the lower right of the screen
- This will open your Clinipad configuration.
- Locate the Clinipad to be assigned.
- Click the computer icon on that tablet icon.
- A list of all the available computers in your practice will open.
- Ticking the box for a computer will make the selected Clinipad available to this computer.
- Removing the tick will make the selected Clinipad unavailable for the computer.
- Click OK when you have made your changes.
- Click the computer icon on that tablet icon.
- Repeat these steps for any additional tablets, as required.
Viewing Assigned Computers
Once you have assigned a Clinipad to selected computers, the display on the main Clinipad screen will update.
- In EXACT, go to Administration - Clinipad.
- Or click on the Clinipad option in your workspace along the top of EXACT.
- Click the spanner in the lower right of the screen
- Each available Clinipad will be displayed on screen.
- Each Clinipad will be represented by an illustration of a tablet.
- Each illustration has a computer monitor icon.
- Each computer monitor will display the number of linked computers or a sigma/infinity character if it is available to all computers.
- Click this icon to view a list of all assigned computers.
💡Tip: Only Clinipad's assigned to a computer will be visible on the Clinipad screen in EXACT. Simply untick the Only show available devices option in the lower left of your Clinipad screen to view all Clinipad's.
