Lock your Tablet to the Clinipad App
Apple iPad tablets can be set to provide access only to your Clinipad App.
Limit Tablet Access to the Clinipad App
💡Tip: These steps are applicable for any iPad with iOS 6 and above.
- On the tablet, navigate to Settings - General - Accessibility.
- Enable Guided Access.
- Set a passcode when prompted.
💡Tip: Note this down somewhere secure.
- Set a passcode when prompted.
- Navigate to Settings - General - Auto-Lock.
- Change the setting to the maximum (15 minutes or never).
- Navigate to Settings - General - Keyboard.
- Disable Auto-Correction and Check Spelling.
- Close settings and then open the Clinipad SOEI app on the iPad.
- Tap the home button three times in quick succession.
- Then tap start.
- The iPad is now locked to the Clinipad app.
Remove the Application Lock
- On the tablet.
- Triple-press the home button.
- Enter the passcode set up during the initial configuration and then tap end.
- You can now exit the Clinipad App and use the full functionality of the iPad.
