Unable to Generate a PDF for Marketing Consent on Clinipad
If you are sending marketing consent to a Clinipad, and an error is displayed regarding the failure to generate a PDF, this is often caused by an error with the selected layout for Consent Forms or Contact Consent.
Failed to generate a PDF to sign for this Marketing Consent
- Go to Configure - Printing Setup.
- Under the Stationary tab, locate Consent Form and Contact Consent.
- These layouts are used for the creation of the Contact Consent and Marketing Consent.
- Select one of the forms at a time.
- Click the Print option, and then select Preview.
- An error will likely appear for one of these; the error will specify which line the error occurs.
- If the issue is due to a custom default template being used, set both consent forms to use a standard SOE template (double-click and select a standard template from the list). You can set this by exiting the preview and then double-clicking the form again to access the setup options.
- Once you have made the above changes, preview the form to see if the error still exists; if it is resolved, continue with your day.
- If the issue remains, contact EXACT support.
