Rolling Back a Search and Change
If a search and change has been performed incorrectly or the results are not as expected, you can perform a rollback to reverse the change.
Reversing a search and change
- Ensure all users are logged out of EXACT.
- Go to Administration - Search and Change.
- Proceed until you are presented with the list of available options.
- Select rollback previous changes made using this wizard and click Next.
- Click Browse.
- Find and highlight the appropriate SCB file. All of these files will be date and time-stamped.
- Click Open.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish to initiate the rollback.
- If the patient(s) included in the initial search and change have been updated since then, you may be prompted as to whether you still want to roll them back or ignore them.
Modified details prompt
If a record has been updated since a search and change has been completed, a modified details prompt will warn you of this.
- Clicking Yes on the prompt will rollback the highlighted patient record prior to the search and change.
- Clicking Yes to All on the prompt will rollback all patient records prior to the search and change.
- Selecting Cancel will abort the rollback.
⚠️ Note: Reversing a rollback can overwrite information added since the search and change was performed.
