Rolling back a search and change
Within EXACT its possible to do the following changes in bulk:
- Transfer patients and/or appointments to a new provider
- Transfer patients to a new payor
- Make patients inactive in bulk
- Transfer booked appointments for a provider having time off
EXACT v13.837 introduced the ability to reverse this process via a rollback option. We always suggest checking patients immediately after a search and change in case there are any unexcepted results.
Rolling back/reversing a Search and Change
If you do wish to reverse the change follow the steps below.
Please Note: All users must be logged out before performing a rollback. |
- Go to Administration - Search and Change.
- Click Next.
- Select Rollback previous changes made using this wizard and click Next.
- Click Browse.
- Find and highlight the appropriate SCB file. They will be date / time stamped. Click Open.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish to confirm the rollback.
- If the patient(s) included in the initial Search and change have been updated since then you may be prompted as to whether you still want to roll them back or ignore them.
