Disabling New Patient Booking
Online Booking has the ability to be configured for the following scenarios:
- Recall Appointments - By sending a unique booking link to the patient due their recall.
- Planned Appointments - By sending a unique booking link to a patient who has outstanding treatment
- New Patients - Booking via the Practice Website
- Existing Patients - Booking via the Practice Website
If New / Existing are enabled then your booking page will become publicly available.
If you don't wish for patients to find your online booking page and book appointments its important to check your online booking configuration is correct.
To disable this please follow the below (It may require an EXACT administrator)
- Go to Configure->Online Appointments. You'll see 4 tabs (New, Existing, Recalls & Planned).
- On the New tab if there are any providers, highlight them and click on the bin icon.
- On the Existing tab if there are any providers, highlight them and click on the bin icon.
