Configuring Google Tag Manager
⚠️Note: Your Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager must be configured before following this help article.

Google Tag Manager Configuration Setup
- Log in to your Google Tag Manager (GTM) account.
- Locate your GTM ID in the top right of the website.
- The ID will be in the format, GTM-XXXXXXXX.
Integrating Google Tag Manager with EXACT
- Copy the GTM-XXXXXXX code from your GTM dashboard.
- Navigate to the Practice Info settings dialogue in EXACT.
- Configure - Online Appointments - Web Setup - Practice Info.
- Paste your GTM ID into the Google Analytics Tracking ID field.
- Save this configuration.
⚠️Note: This configuration will be synchronised to your online booking system. Once synchronised, your online booking system will send events to GTM via the Google Tag Manager data layer.
