Quick charting provides easy access to your most common charted services and is configurable per user.

The quick chart menu is a customisable hover menu displayed as you move your mouse cursor over the tooth chart. It provides an information summary and the capability to quickly apply services and quick plans to the highlighted tooth.

The top of quick charting displays your base charting options with treatment options at the bottom.

Using Quick Charting

Quick charting is always available once it is enabled, although it will only display once you hover over a tooth on the tooth chart.

1. Hover your mouse cursor over a tooth to reveal your configured quick charting options.
   • The displayed charting only applies to the highlighted tooth.

   • Each icon in the menu represents either a service or a quick plan that can be quickly applied to the tooth. Hovering over one of the charting icons will reveal a tooltip identifying the service or quick plan.
     

   • Quick plan icons are identifiable by a triple-lined overlay.
     
   • The yellow tooltip area lists historical and current treatments for the tooth.
   • Historical treatments are illustrated in different colours.
     • You can change and set these colours in the service item configuration.
     • Although charted services will stay as the planned colour (the default colour is blue) until treatment is completed.

Charting using Quick Charting

There are two ways to assign a service to a tooth using quick charting:

1. Select a service then left or right-click the area you wish to apply the service.
2. Select a service then double-click the service to select any details for the tooth to apply the service
   • The service colour will appear on the selected tooth.
   • Simultaneously, the service will be listed on the charting window.

   • Once the service has been selected you can chart the service across multiple teeth by clicking over the required teeth. The service will remain selected until a different service is selected.

Removing Charting from a Tooth

1. Check what service has been charted by hovering your mouse cursor over the service.
2. Select the same service from the quick chart options (or any other service list).
3. With the same service selected, left-click or right-click the service on the tooth to remove it.

Assigning Services with Further Options

If you double-click some services, they have additional options, when charting these a prompt will appear when you are charting the service providing you access to the options.
