The access a User has in EXACT is restricted by the security group they belong to.

If you need to change the access for a single user, you may need to change the security group they belong to or create a new security group. Alternatively, by changing the access for the security group, you will change the access for everyone assigned to that particular security group.

Changing the Access for a Single User

To change a users security group,

1. Configure - User Settings.
2. In the user settings select the user you wish to edit by clicking on the Select a user button.
3. Highlight a user and click OK to bring up their user settings which includes the security group.
4. Click on the security group section to select the required security group.
5. Remember to click the save icon to save any changes (if the user is logged into EXACT, the changes will not take effect until after the user has logged out and back into EXACT). 

Tips and Tricks

• The administrator setting will override any security group settings, providing maximum access to EXACT.
