Patients with a stop credit alert or bad-debt warning are identified with a Skull and Crossbones icon on their patient record.

Adding a Stop Credit Alert

The stop credit alert is usually enabled during a write-off process or can manually be added and removed on the patient transactions screen.

1. Open the patient record.
2. Click the currency button (£/$/€) to open the transactions functionality.
   • Tick the Stop Credit Alert option.

Removing a Stop Credit Alert

To remove the stop credit alert from a patient's record.

1. Open the patient record.
2. Click the currency button (£/$/€) to open the transactions functionality.
   • Untick the Stop Credit Alert option.

💡 Tip: The icon will be added or removed instantly upon ticking or unticking the Stop Credit Alert option.
