Pairing a Previously Paired Clinipad
Setting up Clinipad on a device that has previously been added to EXACT requires different steps to setting up a new device.
Configure a Previously Setup Clinipad
- In EXACT, go to Administration - Clinipad.
- Or click on the Clinipad option in your workspace along the top of EXACT.
- Click the spanner in the lower right of the screen
- This will open your Clinipad configuration.
- Locate the device you wish to reconfigure.
- Click the bin icon on this device; this will remove it from your screen.
- You will now need to clear the previously stored data from the tablet.
- The steps for both Android tablets and iPads can be found below.
- After you have completed the steps outlined below for all devices, you can add your Clinipad.
Clearing Clinipad Data on Android
- On your Android device, access the settings menu.
- Then search for Apps or Application Manager.
- This is commonly located in the general section of the menus.
- Search and select Clinipad SOEI on the list of apps.
- Find and select the option, Clear Data.
- Sometimes this is within a sub-menu under Storage.
- Exit the settings menu of your Android device.
- Launch the Clinipad SOEI app.
- You will be prompted to enter your EXACT server IP address.
- Repeat this for any other tablets that may need to be reconfigured.
Clearing Clinipad data on iPad
- On your iPad, access the settings menu.
- Then scroll down to the bottom of the main list, you should find Clinipad SOEI, select this.
- This is often located near the bottom of the list.
- An area named IP Address should be available to the right of the screen.
- Click into this and delete the IP Address so this is empty.
- Exit the settings menu of your iPad.
- Launch the Clinipad SOEI app.
- You will be prompted to enter your EXACT server IP address.
- Repeat this for any other tablets that may need to be reconfigured.
