Changing the Provider on an Integrated Payment Transaction
Amending payments processed through an integrated payment provider (Worldpay, Dojo, Paymentsense, Stripe) is different to non-integrated payments due to being linked to a real-world transaction.
Amending Integrated Payment Transactions
Payment providers such as Worldpay, Dojo, Paymentsense and Stripe can be integrated with EXACT, simplifying the transaction process; however, the steps to correct these transactions are different to a non-integrated transaction.
Changing the Provider
💡Tip: The provider listed on a payment is not always the provider a payment is associated to, this means that whether it's an advanced payment, paid with the invoice, or collecting on an outstanding balance its the allocation that matters.
EXACT connects payments to invoices through allocations. This is reflected in payment reports such as the Allocated Payments Report (recommended for paying your dentists) and the Receipt Analysis Report. This means all you need to do is wait for the invoice to be charged, and the provider will be corrected.
This will not display as a visual change on the page, but will update reporting.
