With new features, updates and fixes being added to new versions, scheduling your updates is the best way to keep up to date with everything our development team are implementing into EXACT.

Scheduled updates
We advise for your update schedule to be configured outside of practice operating hours, the most common times are between 11pm-3am.
On your chosen day, your server and workstations should be left turned on, although we advise switching off the screens/monitors to reduce power consumption.
Tip: Scheduling your updates at different times to any other scheduled process will help to reduce any complications, these are commonly cloud backups and anti-virus scans, your IT support should be able to advise of any scheduled processes. |
Checking your Update schedule
You can check if you already have EXACT automatic updates scheduled in EXACT.
- Select Help - About.
- Details about your EXACT system will be displayed on screen.
- Update Schedule will show what time and day your system checks for updates.
