Configure or update services NHS banding

To set or update the NHS banding on a service first make sure the service has been created.

If service The FP17 will show an warning message if there is a mismatch between banding and datasets present on the course of treatment.

If you still need to create the service please read the guide on Creating Services and then follow the instructions below to set/adjust the banding.

Go to File - Payors.
Click on the list button and choose NHS then click OK.
Click on the Fee Schedule button.
Find and double click the service you wish to set/amend (You can use the search box in the lower left if you know the code).
Change the NHS Band drop down then select OK.

You can also double click the service on the course of treatment and change any services banding as a one-off for that course.

The changes implemented for band 2 treatments are as outlined below.

Band	UDAs	Treatment
2(a)	3	Everything not covered under band 2(b) or 2(c).
2(b)	5	Either Non-Molar Endodontics to permanent teeth or a combined total of three or more teeth requiring fillings or extractions.
2(c)	7	Treatment involving Molar Endodontics to permanent teeth.
