Dental Referrals certificate update (October 2021)

On 1st October 2021 Dental Referrals updated the certificates required for the feature to function.

Without updating the installed certificates Dental Referrals will not function.

The installer in Dental Referrals Installation includes these certificates but will require the API key to be re-entered.

Please Note: This will need to be completed on each computer using Dental Referrals.

On the workstation open "C:\DReferrals" and note down the current file,
either “ca-bundle.crt” or “curl-ca-bundle.crt”

Depending on what file is shown, download the below corresponding file:

ca-bundle - https://2d9d411e870ae77525b8-9347957e4391f2e2c20952cf3eb08c8d.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/ca-bundle.crt
This should prompt your browser to download the file.
Locate the file in the folder.
Locate the file in your Downloads folder and copy it.
Once copied, Navigate to C:\DReferrals and paste the file, accept any prompts or warnings and replace/overwrite the existing file.
You do not need to log out of EXACT for this to start working.
Dental Referrals should now launch
Repeat these steps for each computer using Dental Referrals.
