Dymo label configuration
To configure your labels to print out of your Dymo printer, you will need to change some settings in EXACT.
- Adding a Dymo printer to EXACT
- Configuring the printer to print appointment cards
- Selecting the correct printing layout
Adding a Dymo printer to EXACT
- Log into EXACT as a super or admin user.
- Navigate to Configure - Printing Setup.
- A list of printers available in EXACT will be displayed at the top.
- If there is an Appointment Card option, double-click this to check the Printer Driver is set to your Dymo printer.
or - If there is no Dymo or Appointment Card option, select +1 to add your printer.
- Give you printer a name, such as Dymo or Appointment Cards/Labels.
- Select the Printer Driver from the drop-down menu, if your printer is not listed, this will need to be installed on the computer, see Setting up a printer.
- Press OK when complete.
- If there is an Appointment Card option, double-click this to check the Printer Driver is set to your Dymo printer.
Configuring the printer to print appointment cards
- Go to Configure - Printing Setup.
- Double click on Patient Appointment List.
- This will open the Edit Report Setup window.
- In the Printer section, select the lined icon.
- Select the Dymo printer option then OK when complete.
Selecting the correct printing layout
Using the same steps as above, navigate to the Edit Report Setup window.
- In the Layout section, select the lined icon.
- Some file options will be presented to you, select DYMO Label or the layout you wish to use for your Dymo printer.
- Press OK when selected, then again to save the settings.
Once all the above steps have been completed, the Patient Appointment List in Printing Setup will look similar to the image below and your Appointment Cards will print to your Dymo printer.
