Configuring the tabs in your appointment book activity bar
Added functionality can be added to the appointment book through the use of activity bar. These activity bar displays a number of activity tabs along the bottom of the appointment book, giving you quick access to information that reception teams find useful.
Please Note: The selected activity tabs are set per user, this means that each staff member may have different tabs displayed with these being displayed in a different order. |
Configuring your activity bar
- Open your appointment book.
- Click the spanner in the top of the main appointment book window.
- Tick the box for Select tabs for your activity bar then click Next then Next again.
- A window with two menus will open, on the left are the Available Tabs, these are tabs you cannot currently see. On the right are your Selected Tabs, these are tabs you already have displayed.
- Move tabs to the right with the >> arrows or to the left with the << arrows.
- Use the up and down arrows beneath the Selected Tabs window to change the display order. To use these, select one of the rows then use the arrows to re-arrange.
- Click Finish when completed to save your settings.
These settings can also be accessed by your User Settings.
- Configure - User Settings.
- Select Setup next to Multi ApptBook Tabs.
- Follow the steps above from Step 4.
Configuring the activity bar for other users
Users with enough security access can configure the activity bar tabs for other users. To do this:
- Configure - User Settings.
- Using the Code at the top of the window or via the selection option (button with lines) select the desired user.
- Select Setup next to Multi ApptBook Tabs.
- A window with two menus will open, on the left are the Available Tabs, these are tabs you cannot currently see. On the right are your Selected Tabs, these are tabs you already have displayed.
- Move tabs to the right with the >> arrows or to the left with the << arrows.
- Use the up and down arrows beneath the Selected Tabs window to change the display order. To use these, select one of the rows then use the arrows to re-arrange.
- Click Finish when completed to save your settings.
