Tax credits are no longer an accepted exemption for NHS treatment after 5th April 2025.

Availability of the Exemption

• The tax credit exemption will not be visible for any treatment started on or after 6th April 2025 (06/04/2025).
• The tax credit exemption will be visible for any treatment started before 6th April 2025 (06/04/2025).
• The tax credit exemption will still be available for selection on Clinipad and Patient Portal due to patients having treatment accepted before 6th April 2025 (06/04/2025) who may need to complete their NHS exemption forms.
