Exporting Images and X-rays from Examine Pro
When you have an image or an X-ray in Examine Pro that you need to use outside of the software, you will need to export it.
Exporting Images
Most image file types can be exported from Examine Pro, including DICOM images.
There are two ways to export images,
- Export Picture, for exporting one image at a time.
- Export Image Directory, for exporting multiple images at a time.
Export Picture
- Double-click the image to be exported from the image library; this will load it into a viewport.
- Select File from the top menu bar in Examine Pro.
- Select Export Picture from the submenu, and Examine Pro will now open the Export Picture screen.
- Select the file format you want to export from the Save as type: drop-down menu.
- On the left side, select the location you would like to export to.
- When you have selected your settings, click Save.
- The image will be exported to the selected file location.
Export Picture Directory
- Select File from the top menu bar in Examine Pro.
- Select Export Picture from the submenu, and Examine Pro will now open the Export Picture Directory screen.
- In the top-left of the screen, left-click on a thumbnail image to highlight the image to be exported.
- Click Add.
- Repeat this for any images to be exported.
- Or select Add all to export all images.
- At the bottom of the screen, change the Destination Folder to the desired export location.
- On the right-hand side, select the file format you would like to export images as.
- The images will be exported to the selected file location.
