Adding Patient Information to Images
Patient information can be added to images in the patient record.
Adding information to Individual Images
- Open Examine Pro on the patient record.
- Double-click the image you want to add information to.
- The viewport will open.
- Right-click on the Tick option.
- Select Patient Info from the list.
- This will apply to the image currently in the viewport.
- This will apply to the image currently in the viewport.
- Press the save button to save the information on the image.
- This will add the Patient Number, Name and DOB to the bottom of the image.
Change the Displayed Image Information
If you require different information, such as the Patient Name, DOB and Image Date on the image.
- Open Examine Pro on the patient record.
- Go to Options - Setup.
- In the Setup screen, scroll down and select Optimize.
- Use the arrow buttons to navigate to the Patient info tab.
- Double-click the highlighted text, and then click Delete.
- Copy and paste the following code,
- Draw Text $2F,%PATIENT_NAME% %PATIENT_BIRTHDATE% %IMAGE_DATE%,$0000005D,$00640007,$40000,$000000
- Right-click in the Actions to perform area on the right of the Optimize module.
- Select Paste filter lines from the clipboard.
Automatically Add Information to Images
⚠️ Please Note: This will only add information to images taken after the following changes have been made.
- In the same setup screen outlined above, click on the Appearance tab.
- Select the device you are using from the list
- Vistascan may display as ScanX.
- Carestream may display as Kodak/Trophy RVG.
- PSPIX may display as Acteon/Sopro.
- Use the drop-down menu to select Patient info for every option in the device section.
- Select Save Changes and click OK on the prompt.
