Printer cutting off or previewing off screen
If your pages are being cut-off when printing, this may be caused by an incorrect printer setup (set to letter instead of A4), you can check this with the following steps.
- Type Printer into Windows Search, this will provide you the option to view Printers & scanners, select this option.
- Select the printer you are using, clicking once will open more options, select Manage.
- Select Printer properties on the following screen.
- On the General tab you will see a window with Paper available options, ensure this lists A4, not letter.
- If this option states letter, click the Preferences button below the window.
If this option displays A4, skip to step 7. - You can now select A4 from a drop-down menu.
- Now select the Advanced tab then Printing Defaults, check the same settings as above and change as necessary.
- After changing these, save all changes, then try printing again.
If the issue persists or these are all set to A4, check/change the following:
- Set screen scaling to 100%
- Change your screen resolution
- Check for a oversized image in the PRX footer (may require assistance from EXACT support
- Check the number of monitors being used and if duplication is enabled (disable and test if yet)
